I earned my Bachelors of Science in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice from Southeast Missouri State University in 2014. While at Southeast, I was a member of the Psi Chi Honor Society, Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society, and the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. I also graduated Magna Cum Laude.
I began working as a Community Support Professional with Bootheel Counseling Services. There I assisted patients with mental health disorders meet their goals. Later I transitioned my career to working at Southeast Correctional Center, a maximum security male prison. Working at Southeast Correctional Center allowed me to teach classes to both offenders and prison staff.
Teaching training classes to staff helped me realize what I wanted to do with my life: help employees be better employees. This combines my love of helping people, teaching, and designing. It was then I decided to pursue a Masters of Science in Instructional Design and Technology from Trevecca Nazarene University.
